Sigourney managed to drag herself away from her Embryo albums (she loves that Krauty jazz rock fusion, maaann) to pick out her favourite album from the racks. This week she’s plumped for White Noise’s ‘An Electric Storm’ album – Delia Derbyshire and Brian Hodgson’s killer album of chilly BBC electronic workshop soundscapes, fractured pop songcraft with musique concrète effects, weird bits of radio theater, and plenty of spook. Sig was going head over heels trying to get at the waxy goodness within the sleeve. But it might have just been the mouse hiding behind it.
